About PTE

PTE Academic is a computer-based test that evaluates non-native English speakers' listening, reading, speaking, and writing abilities in order to demonstrate their academic English ability - often in order to gain admission to English-speaking universities or higher education institutions, or as proof of language ability for a visa application. The test is approved in 3000 courses worldwide, including those in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States.
